Tijuana Bradley, the 27-year-old pharmaceutical sales representative from St. Louis, Missouri, was voted out last Wednesday on Survivor: Pearl Islands. She thought that she had made a tight all girl alliance and that Burton would be the one leaving that night.. That might have happened, but Jon stepped in and lied to Sandra and Christa about Tijuana. Then with a vote of five to two, Tijuana takes her seat on the jury with Ryan and Rupert. She talked about how Jon turned things on her and how she and the other fell for his "great lie" today on the CBS Early Show with Harry Smith. Harry Smith - Despite overhearing Burton and Jon's plan to become this season's top two survivors - Tijuana Bradley was still unable to avoid exile during the show's most recent Tribal Council.
( show a clip of Sandra talking about Jon and Burton going off on a walk- then Sandra waking Tijuana up so that she could go along with her and listen to them. - the shows Sandra and Tijuana eavesdropping on Burton and Jon's conversation )

Harry - Tijuana's here, Good Morning. You were given the opportunity... you and Sandra go off, listen to this conversation, you find out that the end is near for you, you have a chance to turn the tables. Why weren't you able to do it?
Tijuana - You know some things that happened that you wouldn't actually see - that didn't come out on camera, but she did approach me and said Hey listen to this - and I listened and I found out that myself and Darrah eventually would be the next to go. And, ummm ... I wasn't wanting to have that. So .. instead we decided as the girls that we would stick together and take Burton down. But, Jon behind my back, as you saw on camera - did some things and actually lied to Christa, said I hated her...that I wanted her gone and as a result, I was the next person out.
Harry - Were you shocked when the vote came down?
Tijuana - I was, I really thought Burton was going to go, I was all excited and I played it off you know as if I didn't think that one way or another - that I could or could not - but in the end once I saw the first parchment paper, I knew I was out because there should be no reason why my name was on paper.
Harry - You know - I know it's different there from watching at home. But from maybe the first or second episode we've all been sitting there saying - Jon is - he seems like such an easy person to dislike- to put it mildly...
Tijuana - right - uh hum...
Harry - Why haven't you all turned on him and pushed that guy out of the picture?
Tijuana - I still don't know. I think at the time he just sounds so convincing - and especially for Christa and Sandra they really thought he was saying was gift is gold. And, as a result... we paid the price.
Harry - wow - well I tell you what - because every week as his character unfolds, he becomes more and more despicable.
Tijuana - Oh tell me!!!
Harry and Tijuana (laugh)
Harry: If he ends up you know - one of the final 2, he'll end up one of greatest players ever to play,
Tijuana - yeah
Harry - Also one of the most reviled of course.
( Tijuana laughs)
Harry- but at the same time- in case people didn't see the show last week - we want to show the folks at home just what happened during one of the challenges, this is one of the greatest acts of deception ever to happen - take a look at this -
( shows a clip of Jon and his buddy Dan when Jon is asking How's Grandma? and his buddy says "she died , dude." then shows the reaction of Lillian and Tijuana )
Harry - As your loved ones were brought on for part of the challenge and he goes to his friend and says , Jon goes to his friend and says how's Grandma, the guy says "she died, dude". And you all bought it.
Tijuana: Yeah. Yeahhhh. And I'm pissed off about that too
Harry (laughs)
Tijuana - just because I supported him - I wanted him to you know ... . Man he's lost his grandmother, I know how that is to lose a family member - as a result - let's support him - let's all stick together - forget the game, morally and ethically as humans let's stick by him. And he played us.
Harry - Boy did he play you big time...
Tijuana - Yeah
Harry - And you didn't really know it then about any of this - until you saw it on the show last week at home ?
Tijuana - yeah you know I kinda, when I heard just different interviews, that maybe something was going on- about who would lie- I knew that Jon would be the big liar - but at the same time I didn't know what it was. so... I was blown away, blown away.
Harry - wow.. umm see I knew... (laughs)
Tijuana - (laughs )
Harry - from the second it happened...
(laughter)
Harry - Let's get a couple of calls in here. Here's Robyn from Niles, Michigan. You have a question for T ?
Robyn - oh yeah T - Hi
Tijuana- Hello
Robyn - I was just blown away. You know when he said that, I was just like, I bet his Grandmother is still alive and I said he's such a snake in the grass.
Tijuana - I know it's horrible -
Robyn - I was just shocked and then when you got voted off I was like Oh No! Why didn't you guys get rid of Jon a long time ago.
Tijuana - I wish we had.
Robyn - Ohh.. and his character - is his - ... when he's off camera with you guys, is he - you know - is he sincere - you know a real nice guy or is he kinda off in another world..
Tijuana - yeah .. No Jon is pretty obnoxious as he seems of television - he's just as obnoxious when we are sitting with him at the Tribal - you know it's sitting everywhere with Jon.
Harry - let's get Susan on - from Phoenix - is it Phoenix, New Jersey? Susan, you have a question?
Susan - Hi.. yes.. I'm wondering why didn't you, Christy, Darrah and Sandra say to Burton, Jon and Lil... one of you is going home tonight- we haven't decided which one yet...
Tijuana - right
Susan - and just switch the alliance to all girls?
Harry - hmmmm
Susan - since you knew that you heard what they were saying in the bushes...
Tijuana - right - We did that was our goal. .. and ummm...
Susan - what happened?
Tijuana- Christa and Sandra, they went with Jon. You saw on television that Jon took them over to another side of the island- and just decided - you know let me change the story - he didn't want Burton gone, he did some lies, and Christa and Sandra believed him.
Harry - Sandra has turned out to be one of the best players in this game-
Tijuana- yeah - uh huh
Harry - You didn't have that appreciation for her when you were playing - on - out there with her ...
Tijuana - Not at all. just because Sandra did a lot of just kinda going- she didn't do too much work on the island, and it was kind of frustrating.- but at the same time, now looking at the game, and looking at it - I have a great respect for her- she's playing the game big time..
Harry - And the big twist in this whole game was bringing back these people you know from the kicked out tribe- the Outcast tribe, what's your response to Burton and Lil.
Tijuana - ummm you know I respect CBS in the fact - for bringing in a new change to the game. but as far as the concept, I hate it. Because they have an up on us. They get to figure out, what did I do wrong - What can I do differently. They got a one up . I wish that I could do things differently.
Harry - Well Tijuana - nice to meet you - one of our favorite players this time around
Tijuana - Thank You so much
