What a difference an episode makes. Fang has now won two challenges in a row, Kota went to Tribal Council, and the political game is afoot in both camps. It’s also clear that only a few of the Survivors actually have a clue in how to play the game or learned something from past seasons. I’m not too surprised; most seasons are like that.
There were many bad decisions in the episode. I have no idea why Kota felt the need to sit out most of their stronger women, given the nature of the challenge. While I agree with Ace that basic strategy is to conserve strength for immunity, it seemed to be overkill and probably directly led to losing the reward challenge. Plus, it was really stupid to have Paloma play defense. She was pretty much a rag doll in that challenge.
